Introducing the Sitzmoebel

As this website explains — well, we don’t know what it says as we don’t read German. However, there are a few clues as to what’s up — first of all, there’s the fact that the thing is called either a “sitzmoebel” or a “bookinist.” I’m sure someone will fill us in in the comments section.

But no matter. Check out the photos. Whatever you call it, it’s apparently a reader’s delight.

    sitzmöbel just means seating furniture. its name is indeed bookinist, which in itself doesn’t mean anything. somehow i feel that a motorized version is only the logical next step.
