For poetry lovers, and haters
Poets’ Graves! Yes, Poets’ Graves is a wonderfully comprehensive website guide to where all those scribbling minions are planted. Planning your next vacation and don’t want to miss Lord Byron’s final resting place? Want to see Charles Baudelaire’s last stop? With this handy website you can search by poet’s name or by location, get maps to the gravesite, read a sample of the deceased’s work or a brief but informative biographical note. There are also sections on Nobel Laureates, Oxford Dons and Poets’ Laureate of both the US and the UK.
Also, the site asks for your help. They have a list of poets whose gravesites they need photos of — so do your part if you can.

I wonder if anyone agrees with me - that graveyards in France (and probably most of western Europe) are beautifully kept and tended, whereas in Britain by an large they are more neglected, like wastelands. It must reflect something in the national psyche, I imagine. Very depressing.
