Though it’s not out until March 17th, Norman G. Finkelstein’s forthcoming book This Time We Went Too Far: Truth & Consequences of the Gaza Invasion is already making news. A film about Finkelstein has just opened at Anthology Film Archives in New York, and was respectfully reviewed in The New York Times. According to OR’s publicity page, the book argues that “Israel’s use of indiscriminate and intentional force against the civilian population during the [Gaza] invasion… had an impact on traditional support for Israel. Jews in both the United States and the United Kingdom, for instance, are beginning to voice dissent, and this trend is especially apparent among the young.” A trailer for the book, made by documentarian Astra Taylor, is below.
