If one of two people to attend a reading is Salman Rushdie, I’d say the reading was a success.
And if one of your attendees is as involved, and has a sunny personality like the other guy, that could be worth a “Rushdie,” too. Just think of how many friends that kind of personality attract. You should give him 5 free copies of the book, and tell him to spread the good news about your book!
